Good to know what’s in the air.
air-Q analyzes air quality, detecting fine particulate matter, carbon monoxide, chemicals, radon and other pollutants.
No one has more sensors — measuring every air component.
The air-Q captures and monitors air quality in real time and analyzes it in terms of its effect on your health and performance. Learn more about what’s in the air you breathe. There are different air‑Q variants with different sensors.
Our Measurement Parameters / Sensors:
Hydrogen (H₂)
Hydrogen only occurs stably as molecular hydrogen (H₂) and is a colorless and odorless gas. It reacts quickly with oxygen (O₂) to form water, releasing energy in the process. H₂ is non-toxic but has flammable/explosive properties.
Identify pollution sources
The air-Q precisely and continuously checks all important parameters of the air you breathe and alerts you to immediate exposure. Some problems only become noticeable over time — for example, unnoticed exposure from passing commuter traffic.
Health & Productivity
The air-Q calculates an individual, easy-to-understand health and performance index based on official limit values, recommendations from health organizations and scientific studies.
Safety in critical situations
The air-Q keeps a second-by-second eye on critical values and immediately raises the alarm in dangerous situations with a loud tone and push or email notifications — for example in the case of smoke and fire, or life-threatening levels of carbon monoxide or methane (heating gas) — or simply as a warning device for unauthorized entry.
A central role in the Smart Home / Office
The air-Q supports many smart home standards (Homematic, openHAB, FHEM, Homey, IFTTT). You can even talk to the air-Q via the Alexa and Google Home voice assistants. Thanks to its wide range of sensors, it’s a reliable source for controlling ventilation systems, air filters, windows, thermostats and more — it can even detect people in the room.
The air-Q air analyzer in live smart home use at home
We put the air-Q through a live test under our own supervision. Many features are tried out and questions about our smart air monitor are answered. The use of the app and smart home functions is tested. This shows how the air-Q can function as a smart smoke detector.
Certified Quality
The WELL standard is an international rating system for building certification, developed and regulated by the Well Building Institute (IWBI) in the USA. It is the first standard of its kind to focus exclusively on the health and well-being of people in buildings. The air-Q meets the high standards WELL requires for air quality measurement and is certified by IWBI.
